- Years of trouble-free operation: The Speed-Loc™ adapters are designed with durability in mind. The cast wedges are heat treated for increased strength and wear resistance and the pins and bushings are manufactured from heat treated stainless steel. The locking mechanism will not rust or corrode. The spring which is a solid urethane plug is housed inside the sealed bushing which prevents soil from seizing up the locking pin.
