This inverted T knife has a 1/2 inch (12 mm) tip with a 2 inch (50 mm) wide closer plate. This knife is designed for deep banding liquid fertilizer below the seed row. Running the tip at a greater depth also aids in the control of diseases such as Ryzoctonia. The closer plate helps to minimize soil disturbance and it also creates a firm packed seedbed. The knife tip is protected with three tungsten carbide inserts.

To prevent damage to the tip driver 200-DRV-1013 should be used when installing this knife on the adapter.
