This inverted T knife has a 1/2 inch (12 mm) tip with a 2 inch (50 mm) wide closer plate. This knife is designed to till the soil below the seed row for control of diseases such as Ryzoctonia. The closer plate helps to minimize soil disturbance and it also creates a firm packed seedbed. The knife tip is protected with three tungsten carbide inserts.

To prevent damage to the tip driver 200-DRV-1013 should be used when installing this knife on the adapter.
