This hoe type opener is 1-3/4 inch (45 mm) wide. It has a long wearing high chrome tip that runs through the ground at a fairly vertical angle. Because of this vertical approach soil is forced to flow around the tip rather than being lifted and thrown away from the furrow. This vertical approach also means that it will pull less rocks out of the ground. Driver 100-DRV-1020 should be used to protect the tip when installing the hoe opener on the adapter. This hoe opener fits on any of the 410 series adapters.
