This hoe type opener is 1-3/4 inch (45 mm) wide. It has a long wearing high chrome tip that runs through the ground at a fairly vertical angle. Because of this vertical approach soil is forced to flow around the tip rather than being lifted and thrown away from the furrow. This vertical approach also means that it will pull less rocks out of the ground.

Our square tube seed boot 300-SQR-1500 or the Bourgault or Flexicoil square tube seed boot, will provide good seed placement behind this opener.

Driver 100-DRV-1020 should be used to protect the tip when installing the hoe opener on the adapter.
