This double shoot liquid knife has a 1 inch (25 mm) tip with a double carbide insert and a solid carbide wing. The vertical approach angle of this tip results in less lateral soil throw and fewer rocks being lifted to the surface. The liquid fertilizer is delivered through a 1/4 inch (6 mm) O.D. stainless steel tube. The fertilizer is placed to the side and above the seed row (see chart). This knife is designed to be used with pressurized liquid systems.

A hose clamp 960-HCL-2563 must be used to secure the liquid line to the stainless steel tubes. The clamp also prevents liquid fertilizer from running down the tube which can cause mud to build up resulting in funnel plugging.

Driver 200-DRV-1030 should be used to prevent damage to the tip when installing this knife on the adapter.
