047-KNF-0763 & 047-KNF-0764

This bolt-on liquid double shoot knife is designed to fit 47° shanks with 1-3/4 inch (45 mm) bolt hole spacing. The 3/4 inch tip has a primary carbide insert on the nose and a secondary insert to prevent the cast tip from wearing above the primary carbide.

The wing on the side of the tip is also protected with carbide. The wing on this knife protrudes out further than our other liquid knives and should provide increased separation of seed and fertilizer. Because of the wider wing this knife is manufactured with both left and right side wings. When installing on a seeding implement one half of the machine should have openers with right side wings (as viewed from behind the knife) part 047-KNF-0763 and the other half should have left side wings (as viewed from behind the knife) part 047-KNF-0764.

The liquid fertilizer is delivered behind the wing through a 1/4 inch (6 mm) O.D. stainless steel tube.
