680-ASY-4020 Advantage Series Edge-On
The paired row design allows for double-shoot capability while maintaining low draft forces. The fertilizer is placed at the same depth and in the middle of 2 seed rows.
This Edge-On double shoot granular opener is designed to fit the Bourgault 3310 PHD drill, as well as Morris and Concord Edge-on shanks. Concord requires part number 680-ACC-001 spacer plate. The tubes on this holder accept 1 1/4 inch (31mm) O.D. and 1 1/8 inch (28mm) O.D. airhose. An insert, 960-BSH-1130, is included for use with the 1 1/8 inch hose.
Advantage openers come with a 4 inch spreader tip. The carbide, which is placed on the nose and the underside of the wings, greatly increases wear life.
