Quick change seed boot system
The quick change seed boot system consists of two parts: the seed boot holder which bolts on to the back of the shank and the seed boot attachment which fits into the holder and is secured with a bolt and nut. There are five different interchangeable attachments to choose from each giving a different seed spread pattern. This system allows you to match your seed spread to the width of opener you are using, it is perfect for producers who want to switch back and forth from a wide seed spread behind a sweep to a narrow seed band behind a knife.
Holders for 47° shanks
Bolt holes 1-3/4 inches (45 mm) apart, designed with or without a curve in the bolt hole section of the shank.
300-HLD-4700 flat for Bourgault or Ezee-On 47° shanks.
300-HLD-4710 curved, for all 47° shanks except Bourgault or Ezee-On
Holders for 50° shanks
Bolt holes 2-1/4 inches (57 mm) apart, designed with or without a curve in the bolt hole section of the shank.
300-HLD-5000 flat, for Bourgault chisel plow and Morris LH 755 shanks.
300-HLD-5010 curved, fits any other than the Bourgault chisel plow and Morris LH 755 shanks.
Seed boot attachments
Spreader: 3 - 4 inch band of seed 300-ATM-1000.
Splitter: two distinct rows of seed 6 inch apart 300-ATM-1010.
Straight: 2-1/2 inch band of seed 300-ATM-1020.
Knife: very narrow band of seed 300-ATM-1031 or 300-ATM-1035
