The straight attachment will spread the seed approximately 2 1/2 inches (63 mm). It works well with the quick change spoons, spikes or any size of sweep.
The quick change seed boot system consists of two parts: the seed boot holder which bolts on to the back of the shank and a seed boot attachment which fits into the holder and is secured with a bolt and nut (300-BNC-4404 or 300-BNC-4414). This is one of five different interchangeable attachments to choose from each giving a different seed spread pattern.
