This heavy duty Speed-Loc™ adapter fits all chisel plow 50° shanks except the Bourgault, the Morris Magnum III and the LH 755 shank on the Morris Concept 2000. The bottom bolt hole is slotted to fit 1-3/4 inch to 3 inch (45 mm to 77 mm) bolt spacing and it is mounted on the shank with 1/2 inch (12 mm) hex head bolts.

This adapter can be used on most 43° shanks by adding a 7° wedge, part number 400-WDG-0700 between the adapter and the shank.

In certain conditions the bottom nut may experience excessive wear or damage from rocks. This problem can be alleviated by putting the bottom bolt in from the back of the shank and placing the nut in the front of the adapter.

Special note for John Deere: Certain John Deere chisel plow models including the 685, 1810, 1820 & 2400 may need a 3° wedge part number 400-WDG-0300, to attain proper sweep pitch with this adapter.
