600-KNH-7550 & 600-TIP-7501
This knife has a 1/2 inch (12 mm) O.D. NH3 tube as well as a larger tube for granular fertilizer. It is designed to band NH3 and dry fertilizer in the same row, it is not recommended for seeding. The top bolt hole is slotted and fits 1-3/4 inch to 2-1/2 inch (44 to 63 mm) bolt hole centers on either 47° or 50° shanks.
A 7° wedge 400-WDG-0700 must be used when installing this knife on a 43° shank.
This bolt-on NH3 knife holder can be equipped with either the 600-TIP-7500 chrome tip or the 600-TIP-7501 carbide tip, pictured at left.
These 3/4 inch (19 mm) tips are held on to the holder with a bolt and nut 600-BNC-5000.
