050-KNH-0500 & 200-TIP-0523
This bolt-on knife holder has 2-1/4 inch (57 mm) bolt hole spacing and is designed to fit a 50° shank.
Shown equipped with half inch NH3 tip 200-TIP-0523, pictured at left. this knife holder can also be equipped with tip with a 3/8 inch (9 mm) O.D. tube 200-TIP-0531 (sold separately). The tip is secured to the holder with a bolt and nut 200-BNC-3100.
These narrow tips provide better soil flow and better soil sealing behind the knife which helps prevent gassing off, especially in dry conditions. The improved soil closure may also allow for a shallower working depth which would mean reduced draft.
A 47° holder is also available, part number 047-KNH-0500. It has 1-3/4 inch (45 mm) bolt hole spacing and is designed to fit a 47° shank.
A stainless steel shank mounted hose holder 600-HHA-0750 is available to keep your anhydrous hoses tucked in behind the shank.
